The SNL alums are back in IFC's new mockumentary series Documentary Now.
Each episode is shot as a parody in a different documentary film style, paying tribute to some of the most important stories that didn't actually happen (sort of). You might remember the doc Grey Gardens, featuring the antics of Big and Little Edie in their creepy run-down mansion, the inspiration of Documentary Now's episode "Sandy Passage." In the above episode, DRONEZ: The Hunt for El Chingon*, the series is making fun of HBO's VICE, a political news program. It features Hader and Armisen as two Brooklyn millennials who risk their lives on dangerous assignments in places where their cultural ignorance gets them into trouble. In this case, the Dronez reporters rack up a body count as they keep ignoring everyone around them in their quest for an interview with dangerous cartel leader El Chingon. You can catch the series on IFC, or you can download it from all your favorite places (iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Xbox). Happy watching! *Featuring LC music.
