“It makes such a difference working with so many incredibly inspired artists – you can feel it in our music. We are always striving to create a more unique sound, a more compelling approach to help drive the emotions behind a story.” – Jeff Rona, Composer & Producer for Liquid Cinema
As is perhaps only fitting for a music library dedicated to film, television, video game and trailer production, Liquid Cinema was conceived at a party in the Hollywood Hills. Founder Jeff Rona was chatting with one of the top film trailer editors in the business and got into a long discussion about trailer scores. He had heard plenty of trailer music, and it occurred to him that there was a better way to create a library of music for trailers that more closely reflected how trailer producers and editors think and work.
Taking his extensive experience as a composer for film and television – where it’s imperative to produce music with complete emotional impact – along with a better understanding of how trailer editors work, he started Liquid Cinema. He assembled a small group of composers and a production team, hired an orchestra and everyone got to work. Within a year Liquid Cinema became one of the top licensed new libraries in the U.S.
But Liquid Cinema didn’t stop with trailer music. Producers from feature films, television, sports, reality programs, commercials, and AAA video games were already using our music, and wanted more material that would complement and inspire their creative vision. So we started our second catalogue dedicated exclusively to underscore music: Inside Tracks. A great counterpart to the high-end trailer work we do, the Inside Tracks catalog offers music to support every type of media production, with the same commitment to creativity and excellence.

"Music has a pivotal role in telling your story. Because in the end, it’s all about emotion." |
Music is all about emotion – to create deep experiences in everyone who hears it, to connect with the audience. It’s not an easy thing to accomplish, but when we do it’s a great sense of satisfaction.
